Mills & Boon Rules of Romance!
I had a fabulous time on the #MillsandBoonMakeover day speaking with @BBCNorfolk BBC Radio Hereford and Worcester, BBC Radio Cumbria @BBCJersey BBC Radio Lancashire, BBC Radio Somerset @BBCNottingham BBC Radio Tees @BBCSheffield BBC Radio Northampton @BBCRadioLincs @Radio_Newcastle BBC Radio Devon BBC Radio Berkshire BBC Radio Oxford @bbcasiannetwork and then later in the day a live tv interview with Anthony Baxter on London Live. Nerve wracking but immensely fun! All the presenters and producers were great at putting me at ease and wonderful at sharing advice and thoughts on how to bring a little more romance to our lives, especially in the run up to Valentine’s day! There’s no excuse now – why not try one of Mills & Boon Rules of Romance, or even more than one!

On Sunday 6th of October, I shall be in the Bury St Edmund's Asda collecting money for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. If you are in the area, why don't you come on down!

In October 2018 as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Mills & Boon proudly partnered with ASDA to support their Breast Cancer campaign, Tickled Pink. Mills & Boon authors and staff participated in a charity collection in 20 different ASDA stores up and down the UK, armed with bespoke Mills & Boon Tickled Pink t-shirts. Mills & Boon also donated 10% of sales of stickered books in ASDA directly to Tickled Pink. I was at the Bury St Edmunds store collecting with my mum and was humbled and honoured by the stories and the incredible generosity of everyone who donated.

On July 6th I took part in a writing symposium held at the University of East Anglia. I was proud to be on a panel discussing the landscape of sex-writing. How is writing sex different across forms and in different publishing environments? How can academic institution, teachers and the publishing industry help create a sex-positive and inclusive writing environment? It was a wonderful day, full of interesting conversations, differing view points and wonderful authors.
